Masalah: 

GTK theme does not work properly on Qt Startup Applications

• Installed the qt5-style-plugins apt package (with all of its dependencies)
• Added a line to /etc/environment: QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=gtk2 (belum dicoba bisa diabaikan?)

• Notes

  • The QT Configuration tool (shipped in qt5ct apt package) is viable but not necessary.

    • If installed it addes an X session config /etc/X11/Xsession.d/99qt5ct that sets the QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME to qt5ct if unset.
    • It enables a wider configuration of Qt theming. I used a minimal ~/.config/qt5ct/qt5ct.conf:

Use GTK+ UI

The default UI of WPS is Qt. In fact, the bundled Qt is 4.7.4, so the themes such as qtcurve cannot be loaded normally because the versions do not match. But we can change it to GTK+ and add the parameter -style gtk+ directly.

You can modify the et, wpp, and wps files in the /usr/bin/ directory and delete it (if any):

gOpt=

Then, add:

gOpt="-style=gtk+"
export GTK2_RC_FILES=/usr/share/themes/Breeze/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

Manually repair Kingsoft PDF startup script

The startup script provided by Kingsoft PDF is missing the custom configuration of GTK. You can add it at the beginning of its startup script /usr/bin/wpspdf:

export GTK2_RC_FILES=/usr/share/themes/Breeze/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

And add ${gOpt} to the subsequent run function, the modified run function is as follows:

Fix Permission Denied WPS Office 2019 Snap

Setelah menghubungkan wps-2019-snap dengan removable-media, maka wps-2019-snap ini sudah bisa membaca file pada NTFS drive

Uninstall WPS Office yang dari Snap

Sekarang saya mau uninstall wps office versi snap di UbuntuDDE. Sebagian masih beranggapan snap memperlambat booting. Benarkah? Entahlah. WPS Office versi snap saya hapus karena sudah mendownload wps Office dengan package file deb di https://linux.wps.com/. WPS Office snap adalah versi 10, sedangkan WPS Office versi deb sudah versi 11. Jadi secara aplikasi versi deb lebih terbaru daripada versi snap; harapan fiturnya lebih baik, akan tetapi semoga tidak lemot. haha

Mengatasi Permission Denied WPS Office 10 di Ubuntu

Setelah menginstall snap wps, lalu mau menyimpannya di drive partisi tipe NTFS, muncul error

Saya cek dengan $ snap connections wps-office

Tampak removable-media tidak terkoneksi alias permission denied

Jalankan $ sudo snap connect wps-office:removable-media

lalu kembali $ snap connections wps-office

Pada removable-media sudah terhubung.

Sekarang saya sudah bisa menyimpan file wps-office pada drive NTFS
