disable the aggressive ads in GPS Joystick

A little tip: You can disable the aggressive ads in GPS Joystick by revoking its data permissions.

The GPS Joystick (the one by the App Ninjas) has extremely aggressive ads that pop up when you start the joystick and even sometimes when you stop it. Normally, I would suggest paying for the app to remove the ads, but this particular app believes that is something we should pay for over and over as a subscription, so no.

At any rate, if you go into Settings > Apps & Notifications > GPS Joystick > Mobile Data & WiFi and turn off all the sliders, the ad won't load and go straight into starting the joystick.

On my other device, this option isn't present, so the other way to handle this is to simply turn on Airplane Mode before you hit the start button in the app, and turn Airplane Mode back off after it loads. With the settings drawer thing on the pull-down screen, this is SUPER quick.

CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE "wget": library "libssl.so.3" not found

Hi,
I received an error:
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE "wget": library "libssl.so.3" not found: needed by main executable
when I tried to install. I installed openssh before, but probably with older library. So I had to run apt upgrade
I'd propose to update (common) installation command to:
apt update && apt install wget && apt upgrade && wget https://github.com/MasterDevX/Termux-ADB/raw/master/InstallTools.sh && bash InstallTools.sh
note: I installed termux less than a month ago, and run apt upgrade in last week or so

Run the following command in termux:

    • pkg install -y wget

    • wget -q -O - https://gitlab.com/JFronny/smalipatcher/-/raw/master/android/setup.sh?inline=false | bash

Seems like termux doesn't have the permission to access internal storage. You can access the resulting module anyway in the termux directory structure at /data/data/com.termux/files/usr/var/lib/proot-distro/installed-rootfs/ubuntu-20.04/root
